On the nose there is an aroma of overripe honeydew melon with toasted fruit scones.

The palate opens with a hint of smoke, then some tropical fruit, papaya, wine gums and salted liquorice.

The finish has some more smoke with some subtle hints of lemon, and expect a little grapefruit.

Occasionally certain parts of the Highlands are referred to the Northern Highlands (North of Inverness), Eastern Highlands (area close to Aberdeen) and Western Highlands (Northwest of Glasgow along the West Coast). The romantic image of the Scots in history is closely connected to the Highlands.
