Peat & Spice

Maturation in specially chosen Oloroso Sherry cask from the South-west of Spain. Warm, rounded and nutty aromas which are powerful in nature, with the peat adding an additional layer of complexity.
Colour: Deep Garnet

Nose: Peat Smoke, phenols and spice

Taste: A powerful dram with warm spice, rich dark fruits and a big dollop of peat. Brown sugar and baking spices reminiscent of Christmas with a peat fire burning in the background.

The region Islay Although Islay is part of the Islands it insists on being a Whisky region of its own. Despite the fact that Islay is the smallest of islands of the Hebrides but being home of 8 distilleries with Bowmore the second oldest of the operating distilleries in Scotland emphasizes this exceptional status.
